NXP Inaugurates Global TV Signal Testing Lab in Suzhou

NXP recently inaugurated its global TV signal testing lab in Suzhou, China, its second such facility after the one in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The lab boasts a computer-controlled test environment and is currently capable of conducting tests on ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee), DVB-T/C/S (Digital Video Broadcasting - Terrestrial/Cable/Satellite) and J83B standards. The lab enables NXP customers to test their products before mass production or shipment. NXP also plans to augment the lab with the capability of testing Chinese-developed CDMB-T (China Digital Multimedia Broadcast - Terrestrial) & ADTB-T (Advanced Digital Television Broadcast-Terrestrial) standards in 2008.
